To help document my natural hair journey better I decided to set milestones, or goals along the way that I want to achieve. This is just a way to see the progress and keep my self encouraged and motivated.

Natural Hair Crush
I'm crushing hard and its on Teyanna Taylor's hair, I remember seeing her on Sweet Sixteen and thinking wow I LOVE her hair. Her hair is so beautiful and when I'm feeling down about my short kinky, coily fro I think about a few years from now my hair can maybe, possibly, hopefully look like Teyanna Taylor's.
How to Bargain Shop for Natural Hair Products.
Okay, I posted awhile back on how expensive natural hair products can be, so I wanted to do a follow up on how to bargain shop and you may even find some of those expensive products for half the price.
I was watching a YouTube tutorial (can't remember whose) and she had kinky coily hair and she used the Jane Carter Solution Curl Defining Cream, her hair look gorgeous.

Natural Hair Frustrations
I remember when I first BC'd and I felt utter regret, I was unhappy with my short fro I missed my long relaxed hair so bad. I expected too much, I decided to go natural to grow stronger and healthier hair but I always expected my hair to be curly, soft and manageable. I got the complete opposite my hair was coarse, thick, and rough, I became so depressed and my self esteem lowered.

Natural Hair on a Budget
Lets be honest being natural can be a wallet buster, I remember when I first BC'd I spent so much money on these expensive natural hair product brands that quiet frankly did nothing for my kinks.
Now that I have gotten a hang of what works for my hair I came to the realization that the products I'm using now are 10x better than those expensive brands. below are list of amazing natural hair products for much better price.
5 Best Hair Moisturizers
It doesn't matter what your hair type is, natural hair tends to be dry. I myself struggle with keeping my hair moisturized and with summer approaching fast I decided to go on a quest and find the hair moisturizers (my opinion).
5 Months Natural Hair Growth!
Yep that's me 5 months ago on the day I did my big chop,
I was shocked and I couldn't believe it I chopped my hair off. It seems like yesterday that I BC'd but its been 5 Months, seeing the growth and the health of my hair has reassured me I made the right choice.

Hair Type!
Whats your hair type?
All hair is different so knowing or having an idea of what your type is really important when going natural. My hair type is 4b-4c, at the beginning
of my natural hair journey I didn't know my hair type so I wasted alot of money on products that were not meant for my texture.
So You Wanna Go Natural Huh?
Lately it seems
like everyone wants to go natural, not that I don't think its great that African
American women want to celebrate their kinks, curls, and coils. I'm just afraid
that
some people are doing it for all the wrong reasons. How can
deciding to go natural be wrong?
